Football Federation Australia (FFA) have announced a competition restart plan that involves a 35-day schedule of a constant stream of matches to complete the 2019-20 A-League season.

Although they've yet to determine a restart date, the FFA alongside A-League clubs and Professional Footballers Australia have reached an agreement to determine this season's champions and believe a hub approach is the game's best chance of a restart.
In a statement FFA CEO James Johnson said the sporting body are aiming for a mid-June return to training for players before a return to competition in mid-July.
"Ideally mid-June will see players return to training, allowing them to reach the required elite level of fitness for competitive matches to commence by mid-July, and for the A-League finals series to be completed by mid-August," he said.
"The proposed timing will mean that the culmination of the A-League will coincide with the re-start of Australian grassroots football, connecting the professional game and our two million participants like never before."
According to FFA, the hub approach will incorporate health protocols for players and officials while also providing innovative commercial and broadcast opportunities.
Johnson also said the FFA are now awaiting approval from broadcast partner Fox Sports for fixtures and timings.
